I graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. While I had an opportunity to continue and get a Masters in Fine Arts, package design didn't appeal to me. Also the prospect of living on an artist's income was daunting. Instead I joined IBM as a programmer. With IBM I moved from New York state to southern New Jersey. From there I want to Los Gatos, California; Arlington, Texas; and back to Saratoga. I have since worked for a number of companies but most recently I taught computer science classes at Ohlone College in Fremont.
